Poutama maths

Description: in poutama every day befor lunch we have maths and in maths each person is in a stage and I'm in late stage 6 and we have a maths group and I'm in Elly a, we had a workshop today and we had to take a photo of what we did. Here is the question

Drama portfolio sample

Description: every Thursday we do drama with Rebecca and my favourite thing we did is you can't take its when you go into a group and chose a room in the house and chose objects for example a bed in a bedroom


Big idea: in drama we did 2 things the first thing is u can't take me its when u chose a piece of furniture 
In a group and a person will come round and say this room is really messy I might take u and then you will give them three purswazive statements of why they shouldn't take u. For example I was a bed in a bedroom and I said u can't take me because we're are u going to hide your old pizza leftovers.

Feedback/ feedfoward:
I think that you did a good job at the you can't take me because the things you said were good. I also think that you did a good job at the hot seating. You could work on the halt seating when you stay in character.

Evaluation: i think I did really well but I really need to work on staying in character

Writing portfolio sample

Description: in Rebecca's writing group we had to write a story about the photo. Rebecca gave us the photo to give us inspration to write our story's .here is my story

Big idea/ image writing


I like how you used a personal voice to describe the characters personality. I think you can work on making there be you can describe how they are felling and putting similes in.

Evaluation: I think I added lots of detail and descriptive words  but I need to work on adding similes and describing how the characters fell.

Rss production

I JDescription: in poutama we are having a production and each person got to chose if we wanted to go with elements (troy) or superheroes and villains (Rebecca) or out of Africa (Kate) and I chose super heroes and villains. We have a mod board a mood board is were we show what inspired us. Our theme is ora (life) and upcycling here is my mood board

I have made the bottom of my dress a staff a shield and some wings
My next step is to attach the wings to my dress

Big idea/. Q&A

1) The materials that I used to create my garment were:  fabric bottle tops rubbish bags cable ties a hula hoop fabric tape masking tape paint wire string hot glue cardboard elastic bubble wrap

2) The most challenging thing about production for me was: trying to make the corset but I made a new top

3) One way I demonstrated a growth mindset during production was: when I made my corset I kept trying but I didn't work so I did something different 

4) Something I am really proud of about production was: how my train looked with my outfit on 

5) Our school vision is to create agency, creativity and excellence. I showed this by: not just by using all fabric I upcylclyed lots of things because out theme is upcyclying

Feedback feedfoward: I think that you have done a good job on you garment and I really like your creativeness but I think that maybe next time you could do a little more planning on how you can shape your dress a little different. I think that you are very creative on your creation. 

Evaluation: I think I did really well on making my outfit to make it fit and kinda CRAZY

Questioning portfolio sample

Description: each term each person in poutama goes onto the doc of tic tac toes and chooses a tic tac toe that you haven't done and then you do it and put it into a blog post this is my tic tac toe.I chose questioning because questioning helps me to understand more about what I am reading.

Big idea: on the tic tac toe that I did I had to read a article about  the house in a cliff and ask ten questions about why they built it and more. Each person in poutama has a goal it's either questioning or summerising and my goal is questioning. This task helped me to ask questions befor during and after. I chose this tic tac toe because it helpful to practice asking questions that start with what who how why and more. 

Feedback I like what questions you used to describe them.
Feedfoward you could put more detail in your questions.

Evaluation: i think I asked good questions on why they built there house but I need to add some more detail.
